The PURPOSE of the New Testament church as outlined in Scripture:

1. I.Concerning our MISSION as the new testament church, we believe we are to be doing the “work of the Lord” in    
   

1. (1)bringing people into a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
   

2. (2)helping those same to grow in Him being built up in their walk of faith, and
   

3. (3)to enable those same to then go out and reproduce this same mission in their own lives through the local church. (see Eph 3 & John 17.4,6,8,11-14,18)
   

2. II.Concerning our GOAL as the new testament church, we believe God desires that we be a “great” church
   

1. (1)in who we are [our being], that we are faithful to our Lord’s GREAT COMMANDMENT and
   

2. (2)in what we do [our work], that we are faithful to our Lord’s GREAT COMISSION. (see Matt 22.35-40 & Matt 28.19-20)
   

3. III. Concerning our PRIORITIES as the new testament church, we believe Christ has a specific purpose for His church and that being summarized and outlined through our theme. God desires -
   

1. (1)OneChurch to proclaim the ETERNAL RICHES of Christ (Eph 3.8)
   

1. (a)because Christ is LOVE, we place a priority on SACRIFICIAL
        LOVE (John 14.34-35; 1 John 4.16)
   

2. (b)because Christ is LIGHT, we place a priority on CHRISTLIKE
       HOLINESS (1 John 1.5)
   

2. (2)OneHeart to reveal the ETERNAL MYSTERY of God (Eph 3.9)
   

1. (a)because Christ is the WORD, we place a priority on
        EXPOSITORY PREACHING (John 1.1)
   

2. (b)because Christ is GLORY, we place a priority on SPIRITED
        WORSHIP (John 1.14, 4.24)
   

3. (3)OneMission to display the ETERNAL WISDOM of God (Eph
        3.10-11)
   

1. (a)because Christ is the POWER of God, we place a priority on    
       GLOBAL MISSIONS (Romans 1.16; Matt 28.19-20)
   

2. (b)because Christ is the IMAGE of God, we place a priority on  
        BIBLICAL DISCIPLESHIP (Col 1.15; Matt 22.35-40)
   

3. (c)because Christ is the LIFE of God, we place a priority on
        EXPONENTIAL REPRODUCTION (John 1.4, 15.4-5; Col 3.4)
   

4. (4)To fulfill the ETERNAL PURPOSE of the church in manifesting  
        the eternal glory of OneGOD (Eph 3.11-21)
   

4. IV. Concerning our SUCCESS we believe the fruit of our purpose and priorities will be evident when we see three factors in the people we impact as a church:
   

1. (1)TURNING - as lost people turn to Jesus Christ in repentance for 
   salvation, and as distant believers turn back to Him.
   

2. (2)EMBRACING - as believers commit themselves as true disciples
   (following learners) of Jesus Christ in every area of life,
   embracing the Biblical priorities outlined above.
   

3. (3)SERVING - as disciples live out God’s mission as outlined above in our local community and across the globe.
